New Mobile Site
We have just launched a new mobile version of this site - m.trainspots. This page will use your smart device's GPS to loctate you and guide you to locations that are close to your present location.
Location notes
First stop outside the Blackpool Borough Boundaries, this section of the tramway incorporates a reversing facility, basically a crossover, acting as a terminus for Pleasure Beach - Cleveleys trams, as well as an intermediate stop for Service to and from Fleetwood.
The station is located right at the crossroads in the middle of Cleveleys.
Railway type and traffic
Tramcars of the Blackpool Tramway are all you will see along here, in double and single deck mode.
Environment
This is located in the town centre, but as with all areas, do be cautious at all times.
A school is nearby, so sometimes you will get schoolkids in the area.
Road directions
Follow road signs for Cleveleys, and then for town centre. Some signs may show beach as well.

Parking
There are some pay car parks nearby. Bear in mind you could be facing a 5-10 minute walk from a car park to the station.
Public transport
Take a tram to Cleveleys! Stagecoach North West and Metro Coastlines serve the area with buses. There are bus stops near to the tram stop, the bus station located further up in the town centre.

Important:
Stagecoach Megarider tickets are not valid on Metrocoastline buses or the tramway, Metrocoastlines Tickets are not valid on Stagecoach buses.

Amenities
There are toilets located at the beach, and are signposted. The area has with many shops, including a Tesco Metro, WH Smith, and Wilkinson. Branches of RBS, Natwest, HSBC, and Lloyds TSB banks are located at the terminus, with other banks located nearby.

The tourist information office is next to the Natwest, directly opposite the tram stop!

Photographic notes
The 'platforms' are narrow, so best to try and video or take photographs from nearby if you can. There is a lot of traffic, so this will obstruct shots occasionally, and also interfere with sound on videos. The sun should not pose a problem, as you are shooting in a north or south direction.
