A small station in a pleasant village, on the line from Basingstoke to Reading.
Railway type and traffic
Passenger:
FGW: Class 165 DMUs on the half hourly stopping service
AXC: Voyagers
Freight:
Freightliner: Plentiful class 66 & 70 hauled Container Trains on workings to and from Southampton.
DBS: Class 66 & Class 67 hauled departmental & engineers trains as well as E.C.S moves of charter stock which is based at Eastleigh Depot.

Environment
A very quiet station, in a small village. There is a level crossing to the Reading end of the station.
Road directions
Join the A33 from either the M3, Junction 6 (head north) or the M4, Junction 11 (head south) and continue to Sherfield on Loddon where you need to follow the signs to Bramley and 'The Vyne' brown tourist sign.
Follow this road to Bramley and you will reach the station and the level crossing.
