Environment
Fenwick Level crossing is in the middle of nowhere a car would be required to reach the location. You could walk it from Askern town centre but the walk would be about 5 miles in total.
It is also a Manned Level Crossing so is quite a safe location, The gate man has even let me know when the special I was waiting for was on it's way, but I wouldn't expect this all the time.
Road directions
At the lights in Askern town centre turn onto Station road which becomes Moss road. After Approx 2 miles Fenwick Lane comes up on the left. Turn Left onto Fenwick Lane follow that until you reach Fenwick Level Crossing.

Photographic notes
Light in the summer is usually good. But in the winter when the sun is low northbound shots can be a problem as you're shooting into the sun.
