New Mobile Site
We have just launched a new mobile version of this site - m.trainspots. This page will use your smart device's GPS to loctate you and guide you to locations that are close to your present location.
Location notes
The station looks 'old and dirty', but it looks authentic! It is about 10 minutes walk from Garé du Nord.
Railway type and traffic
Local trains and some TGV leave from this station. Also the TER, a kind of train/metro connection. Some diesel worked trains leaves from here.
Environment
This station is quite safe, although there is not much security and you can walk around. Some platforms will require a ticket to access, but if you have a metro ticket you can move around more easy between them.
Road directions
  • Follow the E17 and A1 to the Avenue de la Porte de Clignancourt.
  • Exit D14 from the péripherique.
  • Take the Boulevard Ornano, Boulevard Barbès and Boulevard de Magenta to the Boulevard de Strasbourg.

    Photographs can be taking during most of the day, but in the afternoon some of the platforms can be backlit.
    Because of the roof, the station can be dark.
