New Mobile Site

Location notes
Einigen is in Switzerland on the busy main line between Thun and Spiez.
Railway type and traffic
This busy line sees freight trains (SBB/BLS/DB), loco hauled passenger and EMUs.
Environment
The shot is taken from a field just off a public footpath.
Road directions
Once parked, walk up Steinacherweg go under the railway bridge and take the footpath immediately on the left.

You can park on the main road at the bottom of Steinacherweg, however there is only space for one car.
Public transport
Spiez station is 2.8km away.

Accommodation
Bahnhof-Reichenbach is in nearby Reichenbach. Although slightly further away, it offers far better value than the tourist towns of Thun and Spiez.

Photographic notes
The shots are from either side of the hill. This is a southbound afternoon shot then, later in the day when the sun moves round, you can then shoot northbound.
