New Mobile Site
We have just launched a new mobile version of this site - m.trainspots. This page will use your smart device's GPS to loctate you and guide you to locations that are close to your present location.
Location notes
This is located at Kirk Sandall Ind Estate, Doncaster. It is small yard which sees 3 booked trains a week.
Railway type and traffic
Its a small yard which sees 3 sand trains a week. This is hauled by DB Schenker nearly always a class 66 but now and again a 60 visits.

Environment
In a Industrial estate so expect a bit of stick from passing vans. Plenty of lorries so don't get ran over. Wouldn't hang around after dark some dodgy characters during the day never mind night!
Road directions
From Kirk Sandall Station follow the road down into the industrial estate which is signposted follow road down you pass a few buildings/warehouses first Tighe and then trackwork then Pilkington Glass were you cross the bridge and turn left towards the level crossing.
