New Mobile Site
We have just launched a new mobile version of this site - m.trainspots. This page will use your smart device's GPS to loctate you and guide you to locations that are close to your present location.
Location notes
This location is a road level crossing on the line between Amersfoort and Hilversum. There is a wide open view on both sides of the road.
Railway type and traffic
Various traffic including passenger and freight, sometimes special trains will use this route to get to Amsterdam Watergraafsmeer, where trains will be serviced and repaired.
Environment
This is an open view with a road crossing the railway. The wide view is excellent because there are still no fences placed near the tracks. Keep in mind that big fame vehicles can pass, and can be very wide.
Road directions
  • Take Amsterdamseweg and N221 to Birkstraat in Soest
  • Turn right at the Birkstraat
  • At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Kerkstraat
  • Take Eemweg and AP Hilhorstweg to Weideweg.

    You can park your car near the road. Be careful to leave enough space for farm vehicles to pass.
    Public transport
    There is no public transport, you can rent a bike at Amersforot Station and it is about 20 minutes ride.

    Up to early afternoon the sun favours traffic from Hilversum towards Amersfoort. After that traffic from Amersfoort to Hilversum.
