Location notes
Peterborough is located on the East coast Main Line about 75 miles north of London. As well as ECML express and suburban traffic there are also routes to east Anglia and the midlands. A wide range of traffic passes through.
Railway type and traffic
A very busy location where routes from The Midlands and East Anglia cross the ECML. Ideal for the DB Schenker Depot and Peterborough Yard. Traffic includes express, cross country services and quite a bit of freight.

Peterborough is a busy city centre.
Road directions
Railway StationFollow signs into the City Centre, the station is well sign posted as is the Queensgate Center.
Mayors Walk BridgeCome out of the station an carry on along the dual carriageway - Bourges Boulevard (A15). At the round about next to The Queensgate Shopping Centre turn left in to Mayors Walk. The bridge is 100 meters further north.

Ample parking can be found in the Queensgate Shopping Centre or local street parking.
Public transport
Amenities
The Queensgate shopping centre, opposite the station, has most amenities you might need. There is also a drive through McDonalds close by.

From the north end of platform 2 you can see approaching trains as they head south. This traffic through these platforms is mostly ECML London bound. To the left in this picture is the lines for the Anglian - Midlands traffic.
