Location notes
Claydon is a small Oxfordshire village. The location is on the Chiltern line Between Leamington Spa and Banbury.
Railway type and traffic
The majority of the traffic is multiple units run by Chiltern Railways and Virgin Cross Country Services.
DB Schenker and Freightliner provide frequent freight movements.
Environment
This location is a narrow road bridge crossing the line. Shots can be taken from both side of the bridge, but you will have to straddle safety barriers if you suddenly decide to cross the road.
Road directions
From Banbury:Take the A423 North towards Southam and take the second turning sign posted for Claydon. Continue to follow this narrow road until you cross the bridge.

Parking
Once you have crossed the bridge, there is ample parking space for several cars immediately on the right. You vehicle will be in view at all times.
Public transport
Service 510 runs three times a day from Banbury to Claydon village and return, currently at 0940, 1140 and 1410 from Banbury and operated by Geoff Amos' Coaches.

Amenities
A cup of tea can be had at the Bygones museum in Claydon, and there are a couple of good pubs at nearby Fenny Compton where you can also get a good meal.

Due to the nature of the road-priority system on the road bridge, motorists often sound their horn, so the location is perhaps not suited to those taking video footage.
