Location notes
The location is a small station in a housing area between Sandown and Shanklin on the Isle of Wight
Railway type and traffic
The line sees two return services an hour, Sunday seeing an hourly service. The trains on the line being class 483 units, converted from old underground stock.
Environment
The location itself is very quiet, as the location itself is in the middle of a quiet housing estate.
Road directions
Lake sits between Sandown and Shanklin.
From Shanklin, take the main road to Sandown. After you cross the railway bridge, continue uphill, until passing underneath the railway line. You will shortly see a sign to the right leading to the station.

Parking
There is no Parking in the vicinity of the station. Parking in nearby streets is the only option here.
Public transport
Southern Vectis provide a regular bus service between Sandown and Shanklin.

Amenities
Nothing at the station itself, but a short journey to Sandown or Shanklin should cater for all needs. Just outside the station, you will observe a sign showing the way to the most local shops.

Photographic notes
The line runs almost North to South, so light can sometimes be an issue, but shots can be taken in both directions from the station. Shots can also be had of Southbound trains, taken from the path leading up to the station itself.
Shots can also be taken from the road bridge just to the south of the station.
