Located just north of Birmingham and to the east of Tamworth. The line is a freight only line, to a the Birch Coppice Business Park
, that originates at Kingsbury on the Birmingham to Derby line.
Railway type and traffic
There are no booked passenger workings on the line. It is freight only, with the terminal being served by DB Schenker and Freightliner.

Open fields and business park, security gates at the entrance to the site but these are never shut so access is easy at the moment but could be restricted at certain times.
From the M42, Junction 10:
Head east on the A5 towards Nuneaton and Atherstone. The first set of traffic lights you will see are the entrance to the Birch Coppice Business Park. Park by the road but be careful as numerous container lorries use the park.
None, nearest shops or toilets are located at the service stations at the M42 junction.
