Location notes
Pete Watermans favourite station is situated in this busy, grand Warwickshire town.
Railway type and traffic
The stations sees plenty of activity, with passenger regular passenger services between Snow Hill and Marylebone, and local services to Stratford upon Avon. Virgin also provide cross country services to Bournemouth, Edinburgh and several others, all quite frequently.
The station also sees freight, mainly DB Schenker and Freightliner which pass through the stations centre roads.
Environment
The station is always relatively busy, and the station staff are usually very friendly.
Road directions
From Warwick which is just off the M40, take the A425 which leads you right past the station.
The station is very well signposted, and would be very hard to miss.

Parking
Despite the old DMU stabling point now being tarmac, parking space here is always at a premium. If you fail to park in the station car parks, there are several side streets where you can try your luck. Failing that, there are plenty of town centre car parks, and the walk is not too strenuous!
Public transport
Amenities
The station boasts toilets and a good café. Leamington itself offers plenty of shops, and cafés, and chain restaurants. For the best sandwich in town, visit 'Something Nice' in Tavistock street, which is behind Tesco Metro.
