Location notes
The Great Central Railway is a heritage railway running between Loughborough, to the south, and Leicester, to the north. There is an exstensive double track section between Loughborough and Rothley. On top of this the Great Central has now been granted permission to run at 60mph for specific purposes such as testing locomotives and rolling stock.
This location overlooks the south end of Loughborough station.

The railway runs as a steam main line, with the occasional diesel working at the weekends

A fairly busy road bridge over the Great Central Railway.
Road directions
From the M6 Junction 23:Take the A512 eastbound and continue along the road. It will change to the A6 in Loughborough. Beeches road is a left hand turn off of the A6 just after the turn for Loughborough GCR station.
