This location is situated on the Mainline from Edinburgh-Falkirk, Glasgow, Stirling and Dunblane.
Railway type and traffic
The type of trains usually found at this location are all First Scotrail class 150s, 156s 158s and 170s plus the daily Inverness-London Kings Cross Hst working which passes through the station at around 11:05 going South and 16:40 going North.
Environment
It is strongly advised that you do not wear a Hibernian colours as this railway station lies in the Heart Of Midlothian area of the City. It is not recommended to go this station after dark as it is unstaffed but has security staff that call in now and again.
Road directions
To get to this location by car simply take the Edinburgh By-pass and follow signs for the Edinburgh Park Shopping Complex.

Parking
There is a big car park at the shopping complex.
Public transport
Getting to Edinburgh Park by Public Transport is easy as there is trains every 20 minutes from Edinburgh Waverley and Haymarket. Train runs from Glasgow
do not call here so you will have to change trains at Linlithgow or Haymarket. Fares from Edinburgh Waverley are £2.00 for an Adult Cheap Day Return and £2.70 for a Standard Day Return.

Amenities
There are no toilets or shops at this station. The nearest place would be the shopping complex which is situated about 100 yards to the left of the Stirling bound platform.

Photographic notes
This station is fairly good for both photographers and videographers as it has a footbridge that it fairly wide and keeps the sun out of the way. The bridge is also enclosed thus meaning you can take shelter from the Wind and Rain.
