Location notes
A foot bridge over the former Midland Goods Line in a large park in North London.
Railway type and traffic
The line here is a freight only line between Cricklewood and Acton. There are only a few timetabled workings to use this line, but it is often used by test trains and stock movements between the Midland Main line and the south.
Timetabled workings include the 'Binliner', some stone and cement workings.

RTT Link Dudding Hill Junction
This link should be close to the location, but may not be the actual location so please check the page. This link will take you to what is happening 'around now'. Dates and times can be changed at the top of the page.
Environment
The location is a open park in North London, seems quite and peaceful but you are best keeping you eyes open. After dark there would be no light to photograph anyways.
Road directions
From the A406, North Circular:
Take the Edgeware road south (it is under the Cricklewood flyover) and look for any of these roads on your right:
Dollis Hill Lane,
Dollis Hill Avenue,
Gladstone Park Gardens,
all of these roads will lead to Parkside where you can park at the bottom end and you will see the foot bridge in front of you.

Photographic notes
The junction is just under the bridge, and there is a signal box to the south of the line. The line is in a cutting at this point so shots without shadows will be hard to obtain, but the line speed is low so good exposures can be had.
Both lines are part of a triangle with Cricklewood on the opposide side.
The bridge parapets are not that high (guessing 4 1/2 > 5 foot) so no steps would be required to see over.
Although the location is quite quiet it is hard to listen out for approaching trains as you can hear trains on both the Midland Main Line, Marylebone Line and Bakerloo lines in the distance!
