Location notes
Bexley is a town located in South East London, located on the Sidcup line.
Railway type and traffic
Majority of passenger workings are 465s and 376s. But class 59s/66s/60s, engineering trains sometimes use this line.

Environment
Bexley is a town in south east London, however it does open fields and does like countryside especially when looking from the London end of platform one, so a mixture of open country and town-like.
Road directions
The A2 to the Danson interchange and follow the signs to Bexley Village and the station is clearly signposted.
If your coming from the coast the A2 passes over the line just before the junction.

Parking
Bexley is ok to leave your car in, however it is recommended that you leave it in the station car park.
Public transport
Bexley station can be reached easily from London Charing Cross, Cannon Street or London Bridge and from the coast by changing at Dartford.

Amenities
There is a toilet on the station but when this out of use, there is a toilet in the town but it rarely works. Bexley village has a chip shop and pubs within easy reach of the station.

Light is generally good during the day, but until about 19:00 the sun begins to become head on when photographing trains from the London direction.
