Location notes
West Brompton station is located in front of the famous Earls Court Exhibition Centres. It is on the West London Line and the Wimbledon branch of the District Line.
Railway type and traffic
Platforms 1/2 are the Underground Platforms so you will find D78 stocks on Upminsters and C69/77/08 stocks on Edgware Road-Wimbledon services.
Platform 3/4 are the Overground Platforms:
Passenger: Southern Class 377/1,377/2,377/4, LOROL Class 313 and 378/0

Environment
Close to Earls Court exhibition centre, in a fairly safe area.
Chelsea football club is very close so probably best to avoid the area around match times. The station is operated by London Underground so you will need a ticket to get through the barrier.
Road directions
Parking
Very difficult to park because of the proximity of Earls Court and Chelsea FC. What places there are can be expensive.
Public transport
West Brompton Station is both served by the London Underground,London Overground and Southern services.
London Underground District Line: Wimbledon Branch you can get there direct from Edgware Road and from Upminster.
London Overground: Clapham Junction-Willesden Junction (Stratford Peak Hours)
Southern services: Milton Keynes-East Croydon services stop here.

Photographic notes
The best time of the day is the afternoon for south bound trains. The sun can be a problem around midday for some angles. Not too noisy at the southern ends of the platforms, except for the frequent District Line trains.

The line passes under Earls Court so it is best to go to the far end of the platform.
